EXCLUSIVE: Ab-tastic singer Nicole Scherzinger reveals how YOU can get HER sexy body

The 37-year-old Hawaiian beauty has revealed her health and beauty secrets exclusively to Express.co.uk, along with what she eats.

We asked Nicole about her diet. She said: “Smart they do no caffeine – I didn’t like caffeine but now I am on a cup of coffee a day.

“I don’t follow a strict diet. I honestly believe in having everything in moderation and don’t deprive yourself; you can treat yourself to truffles and pasta, but in moderation.

She added: “I love my Muller Corner yoghurts and I know they fit within what I do and don’t eat and I make sure I work out so I get it all in.”

The former Pussycat Doll is renowned for her incredibly toned physique and was often seen strutting around the stage with her girl group in next to nothing.

And the singer has one top tip for maintaining that figure: smaller portions.

She said: “My healthy diet tips would be to try to eat smaller portions, but eat often.

“I would also say to avoid eating late at night, so your body has time to digest before you go to bed.”

She added: “I always try to eat fresh and avoid preservatives – eat things that you know are clean. I avoid filling my house with bad snacks as I know I’d always go for those if I’m hungry.”

As an A-list star, Nicole has had to deal with the pressures of social media and her relationship with Lewis being under constant scrutiny.

She had some powerful advice for any woman going through a difficult time. She said: “Ultimately, as women, you have to know yourself and ACCEPT yourself.

“There’s always going to be pressure to look a certain way, but it’s up to the individual to tune out the negative voices. As long as you feel great, that’s all that matters.”

Nicole hit the big time back in 2004 when she joined the Pussycat Dolls, and just a year later the girls went global with hit single Don’t Cha.

Now, however, the star is more open with her health and spoke to Express.co.uk about her work-out routine.

She said: “When I have time I love to do spinning or have a PT session. If I don’t have time to work out but want to do something active, I always run.

“Not only am I getting fit, but I often get lost in my own ideas and I get to be so creative and come up with the most interesting ideas.”

She added: “A spinning class is also a great alternative as I feel there is a collaborative effort with those taking part in the class. I always try work out in the morning so I don’t procrastinate and it gets done.”

Perfectly pristine and with a jolly smile, there doesn’t seem to be anything Nicole can’t turn her hand to. After a successful solo career – singles such as Baby Love hitting the big time – the star was a household name in the UK.

She then appeared as a guest judge on the seventh series of The X Factor UK, replacing Dannii Minogue.

It was back in 2014, though, Nicole found her stride in something completely different: The West End.

Andrew Lloyd Webber invited Nicole to take the lead role in the revival of one of his most impressive musicals, Cats.

Nicole looked the part and sounded fantastic as Grizabella for a whopping 12 weeks. And it was something the star enjoys talking about, ‘I loved performing Cats on the West End’.

She said: “Hopefully Broadway is next.

“This year is all about me and doing what I want to do to the fullest, really maximizing my potential. I love the saying, ‘blaze your own trail’.”

After her run on the West End, Nicole took a break from the spotlight and spent some time seeing the world and enjoying her life.

The star has a new venture in her sights.

She explained: “I love acting. I would love to do a film with Will Ferrell or Jonah Hill and Channing Tatum. I ultimately see myself in a comedy.

“I also love Amy Schumer, can you imagine the amount of giggles you would have on set?!”

She finished: “I think the perfect female comedic film role is Cameron Diaz in There’s Something About Mary – if there was a role like this, I would do it in a heartbeat.”
