She’s certainly feline the love lately.

Fresh from supporting her man Lewis Hamilton capture his second Formula One World Championship, Nicole has hit the studio where she has begun rehearsals for Cats the musical.

And she just can’t stop gushing about it.

The Scher-mazing star took to Instagram to post a picture of her cast mates and say: “Get ready #UK! In rehearsals for @CatsMusical ! So #thankul to be able to do what I love & to share is with people who inspire me. #LIVE #DANCE #SANG !”

As a former Pussycat Dolls star, Nicole should be pretty well suited for the role, we reckon.

The star will play Grizabella in the limited-run revival of the London stage production later this year.

To help her get into character the Don’t Hold Your Breath hitmaker has been carefully studying feline creatures, even taking some bizarre trips to Battersea Dogs and Cats Home.

Earlier in the week she posted a picture as she got up close to a furry friend, saying: “Getting in touch with #cats for my inner cat!”

The 36-year-old said: ““I am doing a lot of research on the internet about cats and I’ve been watching them. I went to Battersea Dogs And Cats Home to study cats.

The musical premieres at the London Palladium on December 6.
