Nicole Scherzinger has opened up to us about her upcoming role in the West End revival of Cats.

“Theatre has just always been a great passion of mine and this is just me taking a couple of months out in the holidays to like that theatrical soul of mine and go out there and hopefully make some magic.”

She added: “It’s a once in a lifetime opportunity. I’m honoured and blessed that he [Andrew Lloyd Webber] asked me to do it, so I just really want to make him and everyone proud.

Scherzy admitted they are going to “change” up the role from the “old Grizabella.” Exciting!

Speaking about her new album, she said: “I’ve been saying recently that with Big Fat Lie there’s a positive message behind it – sometimes you need to realise that the lies get to the truth and get closer to the light and the positivity.”

Nicole also revealed that because she spends so much time on our side of the pond, she’s started slipping into the British accent.

“I don’t realise I do it. I think it’s because I’m surrounded by Brits all the time so your inflection is so melodic, so I think that’s what I hear and I don’t mean to do it.”
