Every week, we chat to top musical talent, to find out their valuable thoughts and advice about our X Factor finalists – and this week, we have vocal harmony group The Overtones in the (hypothetical) hot seat. Hurrah! Here, the boys reveal how performing in front of top talent like The X Factor Judges is no easy task for acts – even when you’re well-established in your careers. Oh and it’s particularly tough when you have a teeny tiny crush on the sha-mazing Nicole Scherzinger.

“I know how it feels to be distracted by an attractive lady,” admits the group’s Mike Crawshaw. “Nicole distracted me when we were performing on The Xtra Factor last year. We were sat at a table, and she was about 10 yards away writing Christmas cards. When she turned to me and asked if I had a pen, I just couldn’t get my words out! I know how those boys feel.”  

Well we’re sure Mike isn’t the first boy to be lost for words in front of Ms Scherzinger, but thankfully he had returned to normal speaking ability when talking about our finalists.

“There is so much talent on the show this year,” continues Mike. “But Hannah just has so much soul, so much of a voice. She has soul oozing out of her.
