Lewis Hamilton’s girlfriend wants to keep things private

Nicole Scherzinger might have over 3 million followers on Twitter but that doesn’t mean she’s a fan of the social networking site.

The Boomerang singer admits that, even though she loves interacting with her fans, she prefers to keep a few things to herself.

‘I’m way better in person than I am on things like Twitter,’ says Nicole, 34.

‘I know Twitter is the best and fastest way to connect with fans who really appreciate you but I’m still not cool with it – although I am trying!

‘I try my best but I’m a one-on-one person and I don’t want to tell people I’m on the toilet or I just brushed my teeth.

‘To be honest, I miss the old Hollywood way of having some mystique about the star.’

X Factor judge Nicole, who dates British Formula 1 driver Lewis Hamilton, says her UK fans are particularly special to her.

‘It turns out that understanding the British public is not rocket science,’ Nic tells Live Magazine.

‘The British appreciate honesty and they also have a bonkers, off-the-wall sense of humour like me. They brought out the “schermazing” in me.’
