X Factor UK 2012: Rylan Clark deserves to be in the show, says Nicole Scherzinger
Oct 22 2012

X Factor judge Nicole Scherzinger has said that Rylan Clark has “worked hard” to keep his place in the show.

Last night’s latest live results saw Rylan avoid the bottom two for a second week running, much to Gary’s annoyance.

MK1 were eliminated last night in the latest X Factor 2012 results show, after being in the bottom two with Kye Sones.

The judges once again failed to decide who to to send home in the sing off and opted to send the vote to deadlock, where it was revealed that MK1 had received the fewest votes.

Discussing the results, Nicole said: “I think Rylan is here because he’s worked for it.

“He’s here because he brings the fun, the fierce and the entertainment factor. He works for it every week.”

And the former Pussycat Doll insisted that viewers weren’t just keeping Rylan in to wind up Gary Barlow.

Although we reckon Robbie Williams probably is.

“Gary Barlow is actually really well respected and I know that he’s kind of looked at as royalty in the UK, Nicole said. “I feel like people really listen to him.”

Speaking on the Xtra Factor, Rylan said: “Yet again I can’t believe it. I’m over the moon. Cheers!

“I’m obviously gutted MK1 have gone, it’s not going to be same without them here.

The 23-year-old added to Xtra Factor hosts Olly Murs and Caroline Flack tonight: “I hope the public are starting to see what I’m already like, and what about Robbie tweeting me on the Twitter… I can’t tweet him back!”

The X Factor 2012 continues this Saturday night with a spooky Halloween themed episode as the remaining ten contestants perform live once again.

The latest results show follows on Sunday when one more act will be given the boot.
