According to reports the pair have not hit it off during their time on the show together, to the extent that Gary Barlow apparently moved from his spot on the end of the judges’ desk during boot camp in order to sit between the two of them.

And there are also rumours that the pair hardly speak to each other while they are on the show.

‘It’s no secret that Tulisa and Nicole aren’t the best of friends,’ a source told the Daily Star Sunday.

‘They barely spoke to each other despite being sat next to one another on the panel so the decision was made to split them up.’

‘Both wanted to be next to Gary though, so in the end he was the one who moved to try to keep everyone happy,’ the insider added.

However Tulisa has since taken to Twitter to refute the claims that the pair are at loggerheads.

She said on her page, ‘P**s off media with all ur me n @NicoleScherzy beef talk! We get on fine! Just coz we r different doesnt mean we dont like each other!n if we didnt..believe me,Id let u know.’

Both have also said on the microblogging site how impressed they are with the standard of this year’s talent at boot camp.

Nicole tweeted: ‘Great week so far at XF boot camp here in Liverpool. Its tough but I’m so impressed with the talent here in the UK! Get some rest n let’s get to work tomm Xo’

Tulisa, meanwhile, was more cryptic, saying: ‘U know when u get that overwhelming feeling that EVERYTHING happens 4 a reason..I get it all the time..but 2day its pretty intense ; )’.
