Billboard – 2011 Year-End Chart
Nov 27 2011

It’s that time, already. The Billboard 2011 chart year has come to a close. The year began with the issue dated December 4, 2010 and ended this past week with the November 26th issue. I have added up the spins for the year’s worth of Mainstream Top 40 charts (a total of 183 songs have charted). Remember, unlike Mediabase (which counts everything), Billboard’s year-end tabulation only counts spins for weeks that a song was on the chart and does not include recurrent play. Unless I’ve made an error, this should be a dead-on accurate match for the official year-end chart. We’ll find out when the top 50 becomes available on Billboard’s web site in the coming weeks. For now, here it is…
