Music producer RedOne is probably best known for his work on Lady Gaga’s album The Fame, but he’s worked with countless other musicians in the industry, like Enrique Iglesias, Backstreet Boys, and newcomer Mohombi.

Hollyscoop talked one-on-one with RedOne at the Henson studios, where he’s got his hand in many projects. But at the forefront right now is Nicole Scherzinger.

Nicole is currently working on her solo album with RedOne, something he refers to as “huge for her.”

“She’s done some singles, but hasn’t done a full solo album until now,” RedOne said of Nicole’s choice to branch off on her own from the PussyCat Dolls.

“We’re working on a big album for her,” he dished.

RedOne said Nicole will continue to stay in the pop genre, but her new song will be a lot “bigger” than her previous stuff. “It’s going to be huge for her,” he added, saying yes there will be some collaborations, but no he would not tell us with whom!

We asked RedOne how Nicole has transformed herself since leaving PCD and then getting even more famous with her Dancing With the Stars win last year. He told us, “She’s getting to be a huge star. I’m looking forward to you hearing her new music.”
