One year after leaving the X Factor in the UK, the 40-year-old has announced that she will be judging talent on the other side of the world.
Confirming her new role, Nicole said in a statement: ‘It’s really wonderful to see every day people come on a stage and show their talent. These contestants can be your next-door neighbour or your grade school teacher – it doesn’t matter who you are or where you come from. The show reminds everyone they too can follow their dreams and honour their gifts – even if they’ve kept them hidden.’
She will be joining Manu Feildel, a judge from My Kitchen Rules, Shane Jacobson, an actor, director, writer and comedian, as well as Lucy Durack, a star of the stage and screen.
Completing the line-up, Nicole said she was looking forward to being a ‘voice of encouragement’ that could help contestants become the ‘best versions of themselves.’
Nicole went on to join the judging panel for kooky new competition called The Masked Singer in the US.
