Nicole Scherzinger helping Children in Need’s Show You Care with the Lindt Bear campaign
Oct 09 2014

Nicole Scherzinger, Suki Waterhouse and Amanda Holden are among a host of celebs lending their support to the Show You Care with the Lindt Bear campaign for BBC Children in Need.

Now in its third year, the charity has selected famous faces including Nicole Scherzinger, Downton Abbey actress Elizabeth McGovern and more to help them reach their target of £100,000 by signing porcelain versions of the trademark golden bear for an online auction in November.

Unlike in previous years, where ebay has been the host, this years charity auction will take place on chocolatier Lindt’s Facebook page over the course of a few weeks.

Successful bidders will not only win the signed porcelain bears, but also a hamper filled with Lindt chocolate.

Carrie Green, Head of Corporate Partnerships at BBC Children in Need said: “We are delighted to be working with Lindt again this year. The Show You Care with the Lindt Bear campaign is a fantastic way for people to support BBC Children in Need and be in with a chance to win one of the signed Lindt Bears. Every penny raised from this auction will be used to change young lives so we wish bidders the best of luck and thank them for making a difference.”

Since 2012, Lindt has donated £225,000 in aid of BBC Children in Need through the Show You Care campaign with celebs including Jessie J, Sara Cox, Olly Murs  and Natalie Imbruglia jumping in to lend their support.

If you’re unsuccessful in bidding for a porcelain bear, buy yourself a chocolate alternative as 10 per cent of the sales profits will go to Children in Need.
