Adding further excitement and verve to the glitterati on SATY awards night, ANN7 announced that Nicole Scherzinger, American recording artist, actress and television personality will be performing LIVE at the inaugural ANN7 South African of the Year awards night.

She will be performing live along with the top South African artists which includes LIRA, Mafikizolo, Zahara, MiCASA and Junior Mambazo in front of the elite guest list of who’s who of the country.

Nicole Scherzinger the former lead singer of the very popular group The Pussycat Dolls, which released acclaimed albums like PCD (2005) and Doll Domination (2008); the former spawned the worldwide hits Don’t Cha, Stickwitu and Buttons as the latter also produced hits such as When I Grow Up and Jai Ho! (You Are My Destiny).

Scherzinger also won season 10 of Dancing with the Stars (2010), released her long-delayed debut solo album, Killer Love (2011), and returned to acting with a role in Men in Black 3 (2012).

Throughout a career spanning 13 years, she has sold 16 million records as a solo artist, and a further 50 million with Pussycat Dolls making the group one of the best-selling girl groups of all time. This month she released her solo album On the rocks, which is already making news worldwide.

The inaugural ANN7 South African of the Year 2014 Awards on 6 September 2014 will be a celebration of extraordinary South Africans. It will be an extravaganza with a star-studded line-up, unlike any ever seen before.
