Rebecca Ferguson posts mysterious tweet about Nicole Scherzinger
Nov 23 2010

Ferguson, who stormed into the final six with her rendition of the Beatles’ classic Yesterday at the weekend, tweeted early on Tuesday morning, stating: ‘@nicolecherzy wanted to thankyou for believing in me I no it was you that was behind me from the start you seen past my confidence thankyoux’.

However, the tweet mysteriously disappeared from the social networking site – though not before @BTweedyMonster managed to re-tweet Ferguson’s message, in a shortened form.

The disappearance may be attributed to Ferguson incorrectly aiming the message @nicolecherzy rather than @NicoleScherzy, though it is yet to be re-posted with the correct spelling following its deletion.

Ferguson is mentored on X Factor by Cheryl Cole, but the Girls Alous star has been more vocal about two of her other proteges, Cher Lloyd and Katie Waissel, despite many observers tipping Rebecca to win the contst.

Since the tweet, Ferguson has made no further mention of Scherzinger, who appeared on the show during the Manchester auditions and the Boot Camp phase and has previously voiced her support for Ferguson.

Scherzinger recently told the Daily Star: ‘I want Cheryl’s girl Rebecca to win this year – she’s an amazing singer,

‘I think she definitely has the best voice out of all the contestants and I’d love to see her do well.

‘She has everything – the look, the talent and the attitude. She could even be a success in America,’
