Pussycat Doll and Dancing With the Stars winner, Nicole Scherzinger, is popping in on How I Met Your Mother this season, according to Entertainment Weekly.
Unfortunately, Scherzinger is not the mother, but she will play Robin’s friend Jessica Glitter from her Robin Sparkles days as a Canadian pop star.
“It’s going to be a satisfying third chapter in the Robin Sparkles trilogy,” says executive producer Craig Thomas. “It’s a prequel to both ‘Let’s Go to the Mall’ and ‘Sandcastles in the Sand.’”
Executive producer Carter Bays says, “It’s the origin story of Robin Sparkles. You see where she came from.”
The episode, entitled “Glitter,” will also feature Growing Pains dad and fellow Canadian star Alan Thicke.
“Glitter” is scheduled to air during November sweeps.
How I Met Your Mother will be back on Monday, September 20 at 8/7c on CBS.
